Why "Update All" is the wrong button for a live site
WordPress's update screen fires every pending update in one click, in whatever order the queue presents them. Most of the time nothing goes wrong. Occasionally it is how a working WooCommerce checkout becomes a blank white screen — not because any single update was badly written, but because two plugins hooked into the same filter. Diagnosing which of six simultaneous updates caused the break takes longer than testing one change at a time.
A staging environment is a private copy of the site used to check what actually matters — checkout, a form, a builder section — before the same update reaches production. Each plugin's minimum PHP requirement is checked against the branch your host runs, so an upgrade happens on a plan rather than as a fatal error the moment a plugin requires a newer version.

WooCommerce and the FPX / DuitNow plugin that runs your checkout
A WooCommerce store adds a payment gateway plugin to the list of things that can break on update — the extension connecting checkout to FPX, DuitNow or a card processor. Frequently Asked Questions
Does this work with my existing WordPress host, or do I need to move?
It works inside your existing account on most Malaysian WordPress hosts — cPanel, Cloud Run, Exabytes and similar. If a host genuinely cannot run an offsite backup or a staging copy, we say so and quote a move separately, into an account in your name.
Do updates go straight to my live site?
No. Updates are applied to a staging copy first and checked against checkout and contact forms before they reach production — the opposite of clicking "Update All" on the live install.
What if a plugin or theme on my site is a nulled or pirated copy?
We do not maintain nulled software going forward. A cracked copy of a paid plugin is a well-documented malware channel, since the crack is often where the injected code lives. Replacing one is among the first findings in an Essential System Review.
Does Care cover WooCommerce and my payment gateway plugin?
Yes. WooCommerce and whichever FPX or DuitNow gateway plugin your checkout uses go through the same staging-tested update cycle as the rest of the site.
Who owns the hosting account and the wp-admin login once you manage the site?
You do, for both. The hosting account, domain and every admin login stay registered in your name; access is granted into accounts you hold, never transferred to one JagaWeb controls.
What is not included in WordPress Care?
New bespoke plugin development, a full rebuild, or a new feature — scoped and fixed-quoted separately, never billed by the hour. Routine updates, backups, monitoring and patching are what the monthly fee covers.
