MODERNIZATION WITHOUT TRAFFIC LOSS

Website redesign for growing Malaysian brands.

If your current website is slow, hard to update on mobile, or looks like it was built in 2015, we rebuild it from the ground up on modern Next.js architecture with zero downtime and protected Google rankings.

Before & After: What a Rebuild Changes

ENGINEERING RIGOR

How JagaWeb Executes Website Redesigns

1. 301 Redirect & SEO Preservation

We crawl your entire existing site to map every ranking URL. 1-to-1 301 redirects ensure zero broken backlinks and zero Google search ranking drops.

2. Next.js & Sub-Second Core Web Vitals

Replace bloated, slow page builders with clean React & Next.js Server Components. Achieve sub-second LCP and 95+ mobile Google PageSpeed scores.

3. Direct WhatsApp & Conversion Architecture

Redesign user journeys to funnel visitors directly into WhatsApp leads, inquiry forms, and high-converting checkout flows.

4. 100% Infrastructure Ownership

Your new codebase is delivered into your own GitHub repository and deployed to your own cloud container. You hold all keys.

WHAT WE'VE SEEN GO WRONG

What Actually Goes Wrong in a Malaysian Redesign

None of this is theoretical — it's the same five failures, in roughly this order, on redesigns that skip a real migration plan.

Same Page Builder, New Theme

Rebuilt in Elementor, Divi or WPBakery again just resets the clock. The same drag-and-drop bloat that made the old site slow ships again under a new skin, and the Core Web Vitals problem is back within a year.

Checkout Breaks on Migration Day

FPX, DuitNow and senangPay integrations are wired to a specific domain and callback URL. Move the domain without testing every payment webhook live, and the first sign of trouble is a customer who paid and never got a confirmation.

DNS Handled by Whoever Is Doing the Move

Nameserver changes made by someone who isn't the domain's registrant routinely drop SPF, DKIM or MX records nobody remembers existed. Email stops arriving days later, quietly, with nothing pointing back at the redesign.

The Bahasa Malaysia Site Gets Forgotten

The English site gets rebuilt properly; the BM mirror gets ported as an afterthought, or not at all. hreflang breaks, and BM rankings that took months to earn disappear with nothing left to explain why.

Tracking IDs Never Make the Trip

GA4, Meta Pixel and WhatsApp click IDs hardcoded into the old theme's footer don't carry over to a new one automatically. The first month after launch — exactly when you most need to know if the redesign worked — runs with no data behind it.

THE ENGAGEMENT

How a JagaWeb Redesign Actually Runs

STEP 1

Ownership check, before design starts

The same eight control points as the Essential System Review: who actually holds the domain, DNS, hosting, source code and database. A redesign built against accounts nobody can access just repeats the ownership problem in a new codebase.

STEP 2

Design and build in a staged environment

Visible to you as it happens, not a single reveal at the end, and tested against your actual content rather than placeholder text.

STEP 3

Migration day

Redirect map live, DNS cut over in a scheduled low-traffic window, every payment gateway and tracking ID re-pointed and tested against a real transaction before the old site is retired.

STEP 4

Aftercare, not abandonment

The first weeks after launch run on JagaWeb Care, watching Search Console and uptime rather than leaving you to notice a problem first.

PRICING

What a Redesign Costs

From RM8,000

Starter Website

A template-based redesign with final content ready and a straightforward launch. Right choice when the goal is a faster, current-looking site, not new functionality.

From RM30,000

Fixed-Scope Project

For a redesign that also rebuilds a workflow, integration or checkout, with the scope and acceptance criteria written down before work starts.

From RM35,000

Platform Build

For when "redesign" is actually shorthand for replacing the underlying system, not just its public face.

Prices exclude SST unless stated. An Essential System Review (RM1,500) run first tells you which tier you actually need instead of guessing off the shelf.

The technical side of protecting your search rankings during the move — a URL inventory, a one-to-one redirect map, staging without letting Google index it, and what to watch in the weeks after launch — is written up step by step in How to Redesign a Website Without Losing Search Rankings. This page is the commercial side of the same decision: what actually breaks in a Malaysian migration, how the engagement runs, and what it costs.

Questions

Will my Google ranking survive a redesign?

No one can promise zero fluctuation. Google's own guidance says visibility can shift temporarily during any URL or platform move, and calls that normal. A careful migration makes the dip smaller and shorter, not zero.

How long does a redesign take?

A Starter Website redesign typically runs a few weeks once your content is final. A Fixed-Scope Project with custom workflows or integrations is scoped and quoted in writing before work starts, so the timeline is set against real acceptance criteria, not guessed upfront.

What happens to my domain and hosting during the move?

They stay registered in your name the entire time. We request access, never ownership, and DNS changes are scheduled and tested rather than switched blind.

Can you redesign a site currently on Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or WordPress?

Yes. The source platform changes what has to be exported first — content, product catalogues, customer records — not the redirect and ownership discipline once it's out.
